Project Overview

One of the UK’s Greenest buildings at Harrogate Harlow Carr Gardens provides free learning facilities to over 10,000 children every year. This £3.3 million project includes virtually all established energy saving or conserving systems, including triple glazing, a sedum roof, water harvesting, solar panels, a wind turbine and heat pump. The installation comprise of a NIBE 1330-22kw GSHP with a UKV200 buffer tank and a VPAS300/450 solar hot water cylinder. The system gains its renewable energy via 5 x 100m boreholes. The system supplies heat to the under floor heating system on both floors of the building.
